Congrat’s Katie & Craig – Jude is adorable!
Here at REP, fall has certainly been keeping us busy! With so many Fall sessions, there is plenty for us to blog about. Needless to say it was kind of hard to actually choose which session to start with, but somehow we managed!
Our session, with 4 day old Jude Emmit, was so much fun and he was an absolute joy to work with. This sweet little darling, was such a trooper; he slept (almost) the entire session, only requesting a short lunch break. So exciting to be a part of this little guys life, and are looking forward to watching him as he grows up!!!
Key Ingredients for a perfect Newborn Session.
Knowing things about mom & dad before the session, is a must! Craig (Dad) is an Army Captain, so of course we wanted to make certain, he had some of his Army Components, on hand, for prop use. REP brought along, an one of our old ammo crates props - a perfect addition to this session, (Crates were recently purchased from our good friend Ashley, at The Pickin Princess*).
At REP, we love our custom props! So, of course we had a few on hand for Jude's session.
A recent addition to our growing prop ensemble was this blue fringe blanket, which I (Holly) made & completed the day before this shoot... Everyone was so pleased with how soft and fun this blanket was... Great Job Me!!!
Another one of our Custom Props, was our one-of-a-kind carved out log, made especially for our newborn sessions! We usually put some cozy blankets in, and of course a sweet little baby. This recent addition to our growing selection of props, was made by the photographer himself (aka Robert)!
Mom (Katie), had a special request for us to use some 'real' pumpkins. We were delighted to make this happen, especially since it's Fall, and of course Pumpkins are in!
The Beautiful new Starn Family!
