Virginia Wedding & Event Network

Thursday evening October 25, Robert Everton Photography was a featured vendor at Narmada Winery with the VAWE network event meeting.  It was a fantastic evening; meeting new people as well as those we already knew and have worked with. We were honor to feel so welcomed by Didi Russell the President / CEO of the Virginia Wedding & Event Network. Didi Russell is a kind and tireless woman, and with 5 kids it's truly amazing all that she has accomplished. The Virginia Wedding & Event Network's, goal is to help bring awareness to the local wedding industry and promote local wedding & event professional’s services one region at a time. Their hope is to bring light to this and encourage brides and corporate event planners to connect with locally owned businesses first.

Narmada Winery, is an amazing winery. The beautiful scenic drive out to the vineyard with the sun setting was breathtaking.  Narmada Winery is located in the scenic Blue Ridge countryside of Rappahannock County, Virginia, midway between Warrenton and Sperryville, and an easy day-trip from Washington, DC.

Narmada Winery offers a unique experience you won’t find elsewhere. Looking for a great winery to visit? Check them out, enjoy a glass of wine and  some of their savory Indian appetizers in their tasting room or on the outdoor deck with a view over the pond, while relaxing to the sounds of popular local musicians. If you are looking for a special, well-equipped venue for an upcoming wedding, celebration, corporate meeting or other special event, schedule a tour of their beautiful facility.

Brides Pay Attention Here:

We had a number of wedding professionals at the event including, live entertainment provided by talented singer/songwriter, Ken Wenzel! His performance was music to my ears. Horse Country Cakes and Warrenton ColdStone Creamery provided tasty treats. Horse Country Cakes is a small cake decorating business ready to make your special occasion even more memorable with a custom made cake or cupcakes. Brenda Boran made our son’s 5th birthday cake, it was a sunken pirate ship.  It was amazingly delicious and realistic and truly looked just like a sunken pirate ship.

Evening Under the Stars 2012

We are delighted to announce the kick-off of Robert Everton Photography's new blog!
Join us and check back often.

On September 15, Robert and Holly were pleased to represent Robert Everton Photography at Warrenton's 23rd Annual Evening Under the Stars event.  We were extremely excited to be a part of this year's festivities, and the wonderful Jennifer Heyns made us feel right at home. For all those who missed out on this fabulous evening, here is a little info on why you should plan to come out and support it next year:

The 23rd Annual Evening Under the Stars fundraiser is proudly sponsored by the Partnership for Warrenton Foundation, and helps support the annual activities we all enjoy such as the Children’s 4th of July Parade, the nationally recognized GumDrop Square, and Christmas in Old Town. In addition to these well-loved events, the Partnership is also responsible for the lamppost restoration project, Main Street’s American Flags, the economic and aesthetic revitalization of Old Town, and so much more!

With tastings from nearly two dozen of the area’s top restaurants and caterers, live music and dancing in the streets, a cash bar, along with live and silent auctions the event had something for everyone this year.

Having enjoyed many of the activities, and sampled the fantastic local food, wine, and  live music courtesy of  music of The Daryl Davis Band under the beautiful evening sky, we can tell you from experience that you definitely do not want to miss out next year!

This is the social event of the fall, a true not-to-miss event!
