So, I am finally catching up on our blog!!!!!  It's been a bit crazy here.  Sure, we're getting plenty of things done... but not so much, with the blog.  It seems like we've had something, every night, which is awesome!  We thank God everyday for the work we continue to be blessed with.

When you meet Robert and I for the first time, we'll tell you he does most of the photography and I do a ton of things, behind the scene, facebook, marketing, blog, emails, phone calls, etc.  But lately I've been adding photographer, to the list.  Having already photographed several sessions & events, on my own, I knew this was something I was completely ready for... and Robert knew too!  As we drove down the long driveway, all I kept saying was "Oh Look"... at the silo, at the abandoned farm house, at the cows, at the hay bales and even at the rain.  I was beyond excited!!!

On May 18th we were honored to be there for William, and Claire's wedding ceremony.  Located at the farm, they live on in Marshall... Absolutely Beautiful.  William and Claire are such a beautiful couple, and their sweet little boy Jackson, was just too cute.

Lavender Farm Portrait Sessions at Seven Oaks Lavender Farm, are back, and now booking!  The turn out, and interest continues to be so incredibly successful, that we couldn’t possibly pass up the opportunity to do it for a 3rd year!  So for all the families who have been asking about the 2013 Lavender Portraits at Seven Oaks… now is the time to start booking!!!

Booking dates are ONLY for 1 week in June,  LX Sessions are $99 (reg. $179), for the entire 

month of April.

*As an added bonus - We are now including 2 digital images for anyone who signs up before the end of April.  These digital images can be used to make prints or share with Friends & Family, and there is no obligation to purchase anything additional.*

New Product! Facebook Timeline Cover Photo's

Here at Robert Everton Photography, there's a lot that goes on behind the scenes, (which I'm pretty sure most of you are not aware of).  Every day, we spend time photographing, editing, marketing, networking, mentoring, a ton of other stuff, and of course trying to stay sane.  

One of the many things we do, that we don't talk about too much, is our Custom Designed Facebook Timeline Covers.  For awhile we have been quietly making Custom Facebook Timeline Covers for our friends at the Virginia Wedding and Event Network.  The VAWE is great organization for professionals who are connected to Virginia's Wedding Industry.  Needless to say, we are huge fans of the VAWE, and they seem to think we're pretty cool too!  

We do a lot of photography work for many small business throughout our region, but now we're ready to do more!  Most business owners do know the importance of these Timeline Covers, and many are very familiar with the TON of FREE online apps & templates that offer to give you exactly what your business needs... Unfortunately most are left dissatisfied, or confused by the process of creating something that is truly amazing!

In fact, Didi Russell, CEO of VAWE - Virginia Wedding and Event Networking was also dissatisfied, with these low-tech non-user-friendly options that are easily available for do it yourselfers. She knows how vital timeline covers spaces, are for promotion. Custom Timeline Covers are just as important as the first time a potential client meets you face to face.  Timeline Covers are the first thing your future clients & current clients see when they visit your facebook page, and as such should do a bit more, than show your company's logo.  As photographers, images work best for us.  However for your company, or others, a combination of graphics/images & some simple lines of text may be what works best for you.

2012 Review - Thanks to all of you

The Harts

Another awesome session with the Harts! Angel and Sean loved their daughter's Senior Portrait Session so much they had to have a Family Portrait Session when their entire family was in town.
